Learn to speak Spanish in 3 months?

I am traveling to Colombia in August to visit family and I need to learn to speak spanish…fast. I have a moderately good understanding and can usually follow conversations in spanish but I can’t speak it. I don’t have the money to spend on Rosetta Stone. Is there any other way to learn Spanish in such a short amount of time?

i dont think its really possible to learn spanish that fast. at least not flawlessly and fluently. but try buying a car cd (they usually arent very expensive) and you can learn phrases and words while youre driving. multitasking!
i have one for learning italian, and it really helps. berlitz is the best brand. i got mine at a thrift store though, so i dont know how much they go for in stores.
but good luck, and have fun in Colombia! I would LOVE to visit south america

and download the software to speak Spanish. it wont teach complex things, but it will help you learn pronunciation and such. good luck by the way! i used it to help me speak italian and it helped!
No - however, by going to Colombia you have the perfect opportunity to learn whilst you are there.
if you live with spanish ppl like parents or friends ask them to speak to you in spanish only !!!
